Government Degree College Chintpurni

The Government College in Chintpurni was established by the Himachal Pradesh Government on April 26, 2017. Prior to its governmental oversight, it was administered by a managing committee known as the Swami Vivekanand Smark Simiti, Una, since 1988. Affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, the college offers undergraduate programs in Arts and Commerce. Additionally, it actively promotes student engagement in extracurricular activities such as NSS, Rover and Rangers, Red Ribbon Club, and Road Safety, fostering holistic development.

Notably, Chintpurni is renowned for its Maa Chintpurni Temple, a significant pilgrimage destination and one of India's revered Shakti Peethas. Aspiring athletes find a platform at the college to hone their skills and pursue their dreams. Moreover, students facing financial constraints are supported in their pursuit of higher education, thereby catering to the educational needs of numerous individuals hailing from neighboring villages in the vicinity.
